AMA Pro ATV Motocross Series
Goes to California for Round Two
Pickerington, OH (3/20/2007) - Surprise
first-round winner Jeremy Lawson (#16) hopes to repeat
aboard his Honda at the second round of the AMA Pro ATV
Motocross Series March 24-25 at the Glen Helen track in
San Bernardino, California.
The Pro series is part of the ATVA ITP/Moose National
Motocross Championship.
Last year, Honda rider Joe Byrd (#7), John Natalie
(#13), also aboard a Honda, and Suzuki's Doug Gust (#55)
were on the podium. Each of them hopes to claim the
top spot this year.
But there are a bunch of young Pros gunning for the
win as well, besides Lawson. Others include Honda's
Keith Little (#12), Chad Wienen (#44) aboard a Honda,
and Ruiss Shumaker (#68), who rides a Suzuki.
Besides facing world-class competition, riders are
vying for contingency money offered by Kawasaki for
riders on its new KFX 450R, Honda, and ITP.
Every round of the AMA Pro ATV and ATVA ITP/Moose National
Motocross Championship will be broadcast on the Versus
cable network. Tune in May 2 and 9 at 3 p.m. for Glen
Helen coverage.
