ATV Stampede at Steel City Raceway this Father’s
Day Weekend
Round nine of the ATVA/ITP/Moose
ATV Motocross Nationals visits Pennsylvania on June
18
Top pros and amateurs will compete.
Delmont, PA (6/13/06) –For the
first time ever, Steel City Raceway will be hosting the
ATVA Motocross Nationals on its highly recognized motocross
track that until now has been reserved for the fastest,
highest-flying bike riders like Ricky Carmichael and Chad
Reed. This Father’s Day weekend everything changes
as the fastest four-wheeled ATV racers in world will go
head to head at Steel City Raceway in Delmont, PA on June
16, 17, and 18.
The stage is set for an exciting weekend of racing
with one of the most intense battles for the Pro National
Championship in years with Honda’s Joe Byrd, of
Tennessee, currently leading the 2006 point standings,
but the defending champion, John Natalie Jr, from Pennsylvania,
is still within striking distance as only ten points
separate this Honda Powerhouse, but they are now receiving
plenty of pressure from the potent Yoshimura/Suzuki
Team of Wisconsin’s Doug Gust and Kentucky’s
Jeremiah Jones. Both will be competing on the all-new
Suzuki LTR450, and they dominated at the last round
in Tennessee, which has really intensified the points
chase for the Pro National Championship.
To kick off the weekend’s festivities, Team Honda’s
John Natalie Jr along with Suzuki’s Doug Gust,
Jeremiah Jones, Jason Luburgh, and Jason Dunkelberger
will be signing autographs on Thursday June 15th (5:00
to 7:00pm) during Cernics Honda Suzuki Open House in
Johnstown, PA. Also, there will be free food and a special
one day only sale on Suzuki LT-R450 & LT-Z400 ATVs.
Cernics is just 45miles east of the track in Johnstown,
PA, for more information visit www.cernics.com

for bragging rights to one of 31 national titles. ATVA
