Mobile Medical Unit - Transport Vehicle Fund Raiser

Hurricane Mills, TN(8/11/05) - The Mobile Medical Unit was established in 2004 by Dr. Joe Ragon and Debbie Bartosek to evaluate riders injuries and treat most of the minor problems at the ATVA GNC MX Events, which otherwise might require a lengthy emergency room visit. The Mobile Medical Unit is not a substitute for the EMT/Paramedics, but instead a free supplement medical service.

Weekend Warrior provided the trailer in 2004 for the unit, and the Matt Bartosek Memorial Fund and raffles have raised money for purchasing medical supplies and equipment, and for 2006 the Mobil Medical Unit is looking to purchase a golfcart/rhino type vehicle to assist in transporting injured riders off the track to an awaiting ambulance or the medical unit, and they are raising money through Bartosek Memorial t-shirt sales, Pro Autograph Jersey Raffles, and Super Raffles.
