Pro ATV Racer, Trent Powell's
House Burns Down While at Indy Show
Benton, KY (2/19/2009)
- As he was returning home from this past weekend’s
Indy Dealer Show, Extreme DirtTrack Pro racer,
#809 Trent Powell, received a phone call notifying
him that his home had completely burned to the
ground. Fortunately, Powell’s wife and their
two children were not at home when the fire broke
out, but the family has lost everything.
Family friend and fellow EDT racer, Chris Fristoe,
is trying to help the Powell family by collecting
donations for them in their time of need. “Trent
isn’t asking for anything, but he has lost
everything and I am trying to get some help for
him,” stated Chris Fristoe in an email.
In particular, what is needed, is work clothes
for Trent as all he has left is what was in his
suitcase while at the Indy Dealer Show. Trent
needs shoes (size 10), pants (size 31-32) and
size medium or large shirts. Any donations to
help out the Powell family are greatly appreciated
and can be sent to:
