Rain forces cancellation of Series finale in Brownstown
Brownstown, IL (9/5/2008) -
The ATVA has announced the cancellation of the
final round of the Duro Extreme Dirt Track All-Terrain
Vehicle Association National Series. The event
was originally set for September 6 in Brownstown,
Illinois.
"Unfortunately, the rain and harsh weather from the remnants of Hurricane Gustov have dumped three days of rain on the track," said Bryan Cohn, senior director of AMA Racing. "This track is a
tough one to dry out, and the process would take three to four days."
Extreme Dirt Track features ATVs racing on a TT course and requires a dry course.
See the 2008 Duro Extreme Dirt Track ATVA Nationals series page for complete series results
and points.
