- The excitement of the Duro Extreme Dirt rack ATVA
Nationals heads to Twin Creeks Raceway in Greenbrier,
Arkansas, for the season opener May 3.
If you want to get there early, the gates will
be open from 4 p.m. to midnight on Thursday, May
1, and then will open at 6 a.m. on Friday, May
2, and will stay open until the end of the event.
Rider registration is at 2 p.m. on Friday, May
2, followed by tech inspection at 3 p.m. and then
the practice schedule will be passed out at the
track from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Pro practice only
will be held from 9 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
There also will be games and fun for the kids
at 7 p.m. and food for everyone at 8 p.m.
On Saturday, May 3, rider registration opens
at 7 a.m., tech inspection will be held from 7
a.m. to 9 a.m., and three laps of practice is
set for 8 a.m.
There is a mandatory riders' meeting at 9:15
a.m. with heats beginning around 9:30 a.m.
At 4 p.m. there will be a Pro riders meeting,
tech inspection and sound testing. Then Pro/Pro-Am
practice begins at 5:30 p.m. the main event is
set for 7 p.m.
All pit vehicles must be registered at a cost
of $10. Rules for pit bikes will be handed out
at the track. All 1st-place riders will be recognized
after their races, and the top three riders will
be recognized on the podium after the main events.
Directions: From Little Rock I 40 take Highway
65 North in Conway and go about 18 miles. You'll
go through Greenbrier and continue into the country.
You turn left onto West Republican Road. Watch
for signs.
