ATVA Extreme Dirt Track
comes to Ozark Mountain ATV Raceway
Round 5 - August 4, 2007
Danville, VA
(7/31/2007) - Ozark
Mountain ATV Raceway will host its first-ever Extreme
Dirt Track ATVA National on Saturday, August 4. And,
for the first time, if you can't make the race in person,
you can listen to a live audio broadcast of the action
on the internet. To listen in, just log on to www.twincreeksraceway.com
or www.ozarksatvraceway.com.
You can come to Ozark Mountain for the racing and stay
for a vacation. Ozark Mountain ATV Raceway is in the
heart of the Ozarks. If you want to take in some trail
riding before or after the race, Chadwick public riding
area is just west of the track. Branson and Table Rock
Lake are only a short drive southwest, while Springfield
is to the northwest.
Ava is in a rural part of Missouri. Some will say it’s
out in the sticks, but most of us like that way. Still,
the town of Ava offers the conveniences of stories and
restaurants.
Ozark Mountain ATV Raceway also offers all the conveniences,
including clean, modern flush toilets and showers on
site and fresh drinking water.
The red-clay track features a 100-foot elevation change,
a recently built 30-foot-wide concrete over/under option
lane, rolling jumps and a table top that should make
for exciting and challenging racing. Lap times are in
the 40-second range.
To keep everyone informed, all public address announcements
are also broadcast on FM 103.3, so turn on your radio
in the pits and stay up to date.
Gates open at noon Thursday, August 2, and registration
opens at 3 p.m. Friday.
On Saturday, August 4, registration opens at 7 a.m.
and the riders meeting takes place at 8 a.m., followed
by short practice. Qualifying and main events will follow
practice. Pro and Pro Am practice take place Saturday
afternoon with the evening program starting at 7:00pm.
