2007 ATVA Extreme Dirt Track ATV Showdown

(7/18/2007) - Make
your plans now to attend the fourth round of the Extreme
Dirt Track ATVA Nationals at the legendary Pine Lake
track in Ohio July 21 and 22.
Pine Lake, located at 3924 Maple Road in Sheffield,
OH, sets attendance records every year in the Extreme
Dirt Track ATVA Nationals Series. It has been hosting
ATV Nationals longer than any other track in the U.S.
Honda rider Harold Goodman (#708) of Romulus, Michigan,
leads the series with 85 points coming into Pine Lake.
Honda rider Shane Hitt (#5) of Buckhannon, West Virginia,
has 68 points is in second. Rookie Mitch Reynolds (#137)
of Greenbrier, Arkansas, and his Suzuki have moved into
third with 51 points.
Fischer's Racing and track builder Bud Fischer has
been working overtime, putting the finishing touches
on the always-exciting Pine Lake track. Fischer has
added an all-new option lane to make things even more
interesting. Additional bleachers have been added to
accommodate the ever-growing spectator crowd.
Gates open Thursday, July 19 at 3 p.m. with an optional
practice set for Friday, July 20, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
On Saturday, July 21, sign-up closes at 9 a.m., with
practice starting at 9:30 a.m. Heat races and consi’s
are scheduled to start at noon. All racing will be conducted
during the day.
On Sunday, July 22, practice starts at 9:30 a.m. with
main events scheduled to start at noon.
Everyone should plan to eat a breakfast each morning
sponsored a local church and lunch during the day at
the fire department concession stand. These are key
fundraisers for both of these organizations, so spectators
and riders should take care of those who take care of
us at the track.
