Elizabeth City, NC (8/25/2006) - Tim
Farr (#4), the Extreme Dirt Track ATVA National
champion in 2005, who is from Massillon, Ohio, holds
a slim 4-point lead in the series over Keith Little(#12)
of Russellville, Alabama, going into the series'
sixth round at Dixieland Speedway in Elizabeth City,
North Carolina, August 26.
Close behind in third is Harold Goodman (#708) of
Romulus, Michigan, followed by Shane Hitt (#5) of
Buckhannon, West Virginia. In fifth place is rookie
Michael Coburn (#038) of Garretson, South Dakota.
Dixieland Speedway offers great racing and a great
vacation opportunity in the famed Outer Banks of North
Carolina.
The gates open at 3 p.m. on Thursday, August 24.
Camping is free and all new showers have been installed.
Practice is set for 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Friday,
August 25, under the lights.
On Saturday, August 26, Extreme Dirt Track practice
will start at 8:30 a.m. with heats and mains to follow.
Pro and Pro-Am practice will be at 5:30 p.m. with
heats and semis to follow. Pro, Pro-Am and other selected
class main events will start at 7 p.m. All racing
is scheduled for Saturday. Sunday August 27, is reserved
as a rain date.
