2006 Extreme Dirt Track ATVA Nationals - TT ATV Racing
Fight Set for July 22-23 at Pine Lake in Ashtabula, Ohio

Ashtabula,OH (7/19/2006) - Can hometown favorite Tim Farr (#4) of Massillon, Ohio, keep his MotoSport Honda out front during the fifth round of the Extreme Dirt Tack ATVA Nationals at Pine Lake in Ashtabula, Ohio. July 22-23.

Fishers Racing and track builder Bud Fisher has been working for months changing the always-exciting Pine Lake track. Fisher has added new banked first turn, option lanes, and new clay on most of the track. “I think everyone will like the new layout," Fisher said.

Make your plans now to attend the fifth of the Extreme Dirt Track ATVA Nationals. Pine Lake sets record attendance every year as the largest-attended Extreme Dirt Track National in the country, and has been hosting ATV Nationals longer than any other track in the United States.

Currently Farr leads the series with 85 points, Keith Little (#12) of Russellville, Alabama, sits in second with 76 points. Harold “The Bee” Goodman (#708) of Romulus, Michigan, holds down third with 59 points, Shane Hitt of Buckhannon, West Virginia, has 57 poins andt is in fourth. Up-and-coming rookie Michael Coburn (#038) of Garretson, South Dakota, has 38 points to round out the top five Pro riders.

The gates will open on Thursday, July 20, at 3 p.m., with optional practice scheduled for Friday, July 21, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, July 22. Sign-up closes at 9 a.m. on Saturday. Practice will start at 9:30 a.m., heat races should start at noon, followed by last-chance qualifiers. Sunday, July 23, practice will start at 9:30 a.m. and racing will start at noon.

Everyone should plan on eating breakfast each morning sponsored a local church and lunch during the day with fire department. These are key fundraisers for both organizations.
