Tim Farr Holds Slim Pro ATV Points Lead
Going into July 8 Extreme Dirt Track Battle
Ringgold, VA (7/5/2006) - The
2006 Extreme Dirt Track ATVA Nationals (EDT) racing
action continues as the fastest ATV racers from
all across the country converge on Birch Creek
Motorsports Park on July 8.
Defending Champion Tim Farr (#4) of Massillon,
Ohio, will be the man to beat on his Honda TRX
450R. Farr currently leads by a slim four points.
In second place is Keith Little (#12) of Russellville,
Alabama, who will be looking to claim another
victory after his impressive win at the third
round.
Harold Goodman (#708) from Romulus, Michigan
sits in third, and Daryl Rath (#67) of Hutchinson,
Minnesota, has moved into fourth place. Shane
Hitt, (#5) of Buckhannon, West Virginia, rounds
out the top five.
The gates open at 5 p.m. on Thursday, July 6.
Friday sign up will be open from 1 p.m. to 8:30
p.m. Practice is set for 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m
on Friday, July 7. Friday afternoon from 4 p.m.
to 7 p.m. Radio station WAKG 103.3 will be broadcasting
from the track.
Saturday, July 8, features practice starting
at 8 a.m. with heats and mains to follow. Saturday
nigh.t Hooters girls will be on hand with giveaways.
All racing is scheduled for Saturday. Sunday,
June 9, is reserved as a rain date.
