Taylorville, IL (6/5/2006) - The fastest
ATV racers from across the country will converge
on the South Fork Dirt Riders track in Taylorville,
Illinois, on June 10 for the second round of the
Extreme Dirt Track ATVA Nationals.
Tim Farr (#4) from Massillon, Ohio, riding his blazing-fast
Honda TRX 450R, will be the man to beat. Farr's the
current points leader in the 2006 ATVA National series.
Hot after the championship title are Harold Goodman
(#708) from Romulus, Michigan, currently in second;
Keith Little (#12) of Russellville, Alabama, now in
third; Shane Hitt (#5) of Buckhannon, West Virginia,
in fifth; and Daryl Rath (#67) of Hutchinson, Minnesota,
in sixth.
There will be a special knobby class offered at this
event. The details will be available at the race.
South Fork is new to the 2006 schedule, and promoter
Steve Nace has built a brand new track to host the
second round.

Track amenities include a full restaurant-like indoor
concession stand with a separate large dining pavilion,
new bathrooms with showers, an ATV wash, and a shop
with parts and accessories. The shop also has a large
game room with pool tables and video games, which racers,
families and fans will surely appreciate.
Karaoke and other activities are planned for Friday
night.
Come for more than the family fun and racing, though,
because South Fork has more than 400 acres for trail
riding.
