2008 AMA ATV Pro Motocross Champion Dustin
Wimmer announced recently that he will be
hosting a riding school on October 17th at
Atco MX Park in Atco, NJ.
“It’s a five hour class from
noon to 5pm,” stated Wimmer. After
class is over, Atco Raceway will be having
an open practice from 5pm-11pm. All students
of Dustin’s class can stick around
and practice their newly acquired skills
for free. Dustin will also be on hand at
the open practice to give extra coaching
and advise to students.
Any skill level is welcome at this class;
however, it is limited to a minimum of 13
years of age and 200cc (Blaster) and up
sized ATV. Dustin plans to hold a separate
riding school for youth/mini quads at a
later date.
Wimmer’s class will cover the basics,
including proper nutrition, stretching,
starts, jumps, and passing along with other
techniques critical to racing. Students
are expected to bring the basics, including
tools, food, water, and appropriate riding
gear.
There is a limit of 15 students for this
class and openings are filled on a first
come first served basis. The class cost
is $300.00 with a 50 % deposit required
to reserve your spot, with payment in full
due on the day of the class. For more information
