Reid Nordin |
Reid, what are your thoughts on the ATV
Open?
RN: I think the Open has
potential to be an outstanding event, and that's
why we decided to attend with our team.
How do your riders stack up against the
top ATVA Pros, in your opinion?
RN: Our riders have accomplished
a great deal in their young careers and they will
continue to improve each race they attend. The
Monster Energy Kawasaki team has a solid group
of riders with an outstanding team effort that
has come a long way in just a short period of
time. In the four and a half months since the
KFX450 hit the showroom floors, we have been able
to make an impact at the racetrack in a short
time, and we are pleased with the progress of
the riders and the team.
Any predictions on the event, or what
will happen as a result?
RN: This is a unique
format with both AMA Pro Motocross and AMA Pro
ATV riders racing the same track on the same weekend.
It is going to be a learning experience for all
involved, and I hope our guys can put on a good
show for the fans.

Jimmy White |
Jimmy, how do you feel about the ATV
Open?
JW: We're all excited
to be able to show what the ATV guys are able
to do on the same track as the two wheel guys.
The ATV riders look up to the professionalism
of the bike teams and riders.
What do you think about the format compared
to the bikes?
JW: As far as the
format, I think it will be good for this one time
event. We should be running heats also, but we
understand this is a trial event to see how things
go. Now if your talking about a format sharing
with the bike guys on the same weekend, then it
would be good to give the fans a bigger bang for
their bucks. They will enjoy watching what these
quads are capable of doing.
Any predictions for the event?
JW: Of course, it
will be a Green rider.
