DirtFirst Racing's Andy Lagzdins placed second at National Hare & Hound Round 2 in Ridgecrest, CA

Ridgecrest, CA (2/18/2013) - The second round of the 2013 AMA National Hare and Hound Series took place in the Spangler Hills OHV area in Ridgecrest California, with DirtFirst Racing's Andy Lagzdins taking his Duncan Racing powered TRX450R to a 2nd place finish in the ATV class.

Lagzdins started the race in mid-pack, but quickly began working his way to the front on the 45 mile long loop laid out by the Four Aces Motorcycle Club. Dusty conditions made passing difficult, but Lagzdins moved into second place by the half way mark. "A better start would have helped me today, but I am happy to finish on the podium and stay in the points chase," said Lagzdins after the race.

Utah's Colt Brinkerhoff took the win, and Scott David Schmidt rounded out the podium. The course was a mixture of desert terrain, including long sand washes, rocky ridge passes, and miles of whoops. The next National Hare and Hound race will take place on April 14th at the SoCal MC event in Lucerne Valley.
