About GNCC Racing:
The Can-Am
Grand National Cross Country Series is America's
premier off-road racing series. Founded in 1979,
the 13-round championship is produced exclusively
by Racer Productions. Cross country racing is
one of the most physically demanding sports in
the world. The grueling three-hour GNCC races
lead as many as 1,800 riders through tracks ranging
in length from eight to 12 miles, competing for
more than $3 million in prizes. With varied terrain,
including hills, woods, mud, dirt, rocks and motocross
sections, GNCC events are tests of both survival
and speed. For more information, please visit

About MX Sports and the
AMA Amateur National Motocross Championships:
MX Sports, Inc. is a Morgantown, West Virginia-based
motocross production company that manages the
AMA National Motocross Championships - the world's
largest amateur motocross race. Hosted annually
since 1982 at the home of country music star Loretta
Lynn in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee, the event
is the premier amateur motocross race in the world.
Approximately 25,000 racers attempt to qualify
in 35 classes at the 52 Area Qualifying races
held annually from February through May and 12
Regional Championship races conducted in June
at select motocross facilities across the country.
Only 1,400 will make it to the final. The National
event, christened "The World's Greatest Motocross
Vacation," is held annually in the first week
of August. As proof of the significance of winning
an AMA Amateur National Championship title, most
of today's top motocross and Supercross stars-including
Ricky Carmichael, James Stewart, and Ryan Villopoto-won
championships at Loretta Lynn's. For more information,
