The Mud Pro has rocked the
world of mud riding enthusiasts
everywhere. Tuned in complete
harmony to perform in the deep
stuff, the Mud Pro sets a standard

For 2013 the Mud Pro line is
visually stunning with all-new
factory replica graphic colors. Mud
Pros have 3:1 gears and race-tested
axles that are 17% stronger than
the leading aftermarket brand.
Arctic Cat's Variable Assist
EPS on the LTD allows steering
assistance to the ATV before it
even starts to move at idle. This is
a huge benefit to conserving the
riders input energy when in 4WD,
and especially when the differential
lock is engaged. Arctic Cat EPS
will reduce the torque necessary to
steer the ATV when changing direction
with loaded racks or navigating
the toughest mud sections.
The variable assist system is
driven by an electronic control
unit (ECU) that measures steering
input force versus tire resistance
and vehicle speed then provides
appropriate assist to the steering
column through an electric motor.The Arctic Cat power steering ECU
program is designed to maintain
a light steering input effort, but
maintains enough feel so you have
a better understanding of what
the tire contact patch is doing in
relation to the terrain. Arctic Cat
EPS will keep the rider and the ATV
connected which is lost on competitive
units after sustained riding.
No matter which Mud Pro
you choose, an industry leading
14 inches of ground clearance and
big 28-inch Maxxis Zilla tires will
get you nowhere if water gets into
your intake systems. That's why
Arctic Cat designed an elevated
Intake and Clutch snorkel to keep
the CVT belt dry and cool through
the deepest holes. The Mud Pro
snorkel system takes the guesswork
out of designing one in your
garage. Specific EFI calibrations
tuned in conjunction with the
gearing, clutching, intake and tires
produce the maximum horsepower
in all conditions.
The stance and suspension have
competition spring and shock valving
and preload changes tailored
specifically for the Mud Pro's
taller 28 inch Maxxis Zilla tires.
Arctic Cat tuned the clutching and
gearing in harmony with the EFI
mapping of the 700 to provide the
ultimate performance gains in low
end torque and acceleration.
The 700 Mud Pros are available
in Arctic Green Metallic and Green
metallic painted bodywork and
brand new 14-inch aluminum rims,
with front and rear heavy duty
bumpers and a 3,000-lb. winch
standard.
