2011 Arctic Cat 450 Utility ATV Introduction
|
The 450 might be the
ultimate mid-range performance utility ATV.
Proving last year that it was a standout
in its class, a mix of industry leading
features, performance and value hit the
sweet spot for most consumers.
Designed for smooth, consistent power,
the 450 H1 engine has a potent 443cc, SOHC,
liquid-cooled, single-cylinder with a wide
torque curve and a smooth power delivery
via Electronic Fuel Injection. Narrow, sculpted
bodywork adorns the 450 H1 while the seat
has been lowered over an inch with a new
seat foam compound that is plusher for those
longer rides in the saddle. These changes
seem minimal, but once you sit down, you
definitely get the feeling of riding “In”
the machine instead of “On”
it.
The ride-in suspension has a class leading
11" of ground clearance and 10"
of suspension travel providing a plush ride
to any hunter tackling backwoods terrain.
The combination of the narrow bodywork,
lower ride height and center of gravity,
inspire the utmost in rider confidence for
aggressive cornering and high speed handling.
An all-encompassed electronic 2WD/4WD/Differential
Lock switch on the right hand control makes
going in/out of 4WD or Diff Lock an easy
process.
