20th Annual Rocky Mountain Jamboree ATV & SxS Trail Ride Review
::Continued::
Once the ceremony ends the riding begins! Riders are permitted on both ATV’s and SxS’s. Some of the trails do have a 50” width restriction which limits participants in SxS vehicles, but the Polaris RZR 800 and 570 are within the width limit.

The
ATV & SxS trails at the Rocky Mountain
ATV & SxS Jamboree are well marked,
but there are many trails still limited
to a 50" width, but there are still
plenty of trails for larger SxS vehicles
to explore |
Continental breakfast and adventure rides are held daily. Riders can expect to be on the trail from 8:30 AM to anywhere from 2pm to 6pm depending on the length of the ride. Riders also have the option to pack a lunch or purchase one from the local Fresh Market. Dave Adams is the manager of the Richfield store and explains that lunches can be pre-ordered and purchased for the rides each day. This alleviates the hassle of storing food in coolers and hotel rooms.

Fresh
Market offered packed lunches for purchase
at the 2012 Rocky Mountain ATV & SxS
Jamboree. There pack lunches were delicious
& very convenient |
“We have the options of turkey, ham and roast beef sandwiches each day. We also add cookies, a bag of chips and a bottle of water. It’s a great value,” regards Adams of the lunches available.
The bagged lunches only cost $6 and can be pre ordered by email or fax. Adams also always brings a few extras just in case, but they highly recommend pre-ordering to guarantee your lunch!

ATVriders.com decided to tag along on the Pictures and Pies ride. We got a tasty bagged lunch from the Fresh Market and met up with our group at the Sheep Creek Trail Head in Gooseberry.

The Rocky Mountain ATV Jamboree "Pictures & Pies Ride"featured an awesome ride to check out the beautiful Fall Foliage |
The trail guide Kreig Rasmussen provided us with a Polaris 500 utility ATV. Our adventure started out along Oak Ridge Road which is part of the Great Western Trail System. We then headed east onto less maintained terrain for the bulk of our ride.
