ATV Freestyle Rider Marco Picado filled
in for Caleb Moore as Moore trains for
the winter X Games

Part of Picado’s excellent performance
can be attributed to both Caleb and Colton Moore
as Picado is currently staying and practicing
with the Moore brothers during his stay in the
states. “I have learned a lot and I have
to thank everyone for helping me so much while
I am here,” Picado stated.
Among the incredible combos and gravity-defying
stunts, one of the best tricks performed by Guetter
and Picado is a tandem backflip. Making it even
more interesting is that both quads are equipped
with special LED lighting effects on their rear
fenders. “The lighting really adds to the
effect and makes us a lot more visible to the
audience. It’s really a great addition and
the audience seems to really like it as well,”
said Can-Am DS450 rider, Derek Guetter.

“This year’s show really surpasses
anything we have done in the past. Everyone has
really stepped it up. Marco has been doing a great
job of filling in for Colton and he has been great
to work with,” said Guetter.

One of the best additions to the Nuclear Cowboyz
program is at the end of the show, the cast all
gets together at a long table for an autograph
session, giving the entire audience a chance to
meet their favorite riders and get pictures and
autographs. This was a huge hit with everyone
in attendance and is also fun for the riders as
well. “It’s a lot of fun. We get to
meet a lot of people and interact with the fans,
which I think really draws in a lot more people,”
said Guetter.

The next scheduled stop on the 11 date tour,
that will take performers all over the country,
is Kansas City, MO on January 21st, where Derek
Guetter, Marco Picado and the rest of the Nuclear
Cowboyz will be putting on an incredible show.
