Muddy Bottoms ATV Park
::Continued::
ATVriders.com:
You also mentioned this isn’t going to be
an every day type of park. It’s going to be
a weekend event on a once-a-month basis.
Jeff
Drost:
We’re going to be an event, slash once a month
type of park because we’re also going to have
other styles of events and that gives us time
to maintain the park and make sure the trails
are in good working order and clean, and make
sure the trash it picked up. We want to make
sure everybody’s first time here is a great
experience and one they will never forget,
and we feel like these all play a huge part
in a person’s perception of the park.

Heated
showers will be available at Muddy Bottoms
in a large shower house |
ATVriders.com:
You guys have a big shower house you’re going
to be putting in as well here?
Jeff
Drost:
Yes! We’re having a giant shower house here,
it’s heated and cooled, it’s going to be a
16-man and 14-woman shower facility. It’s
going to have mirrors, sinks, toilets, electric
plug ins for all of the ladies to get pretty
after they go out riding. We’ve got everything
to accommodate this and we all know that if
the wife or girlfriend is happy, there’s a
big chance we get to come back! You have to
be buzzed in by a receptionist that way we
can make sure the women are on one side and
the men are on the other. We are also going
to fully staff the shower house and provide
towels and wash clothes to every guest. We
will also be cleaning those towels and wash
clothes after the guests are done with them
along with thirty minute checks to keep the
building maintained.

Construction
of the shower stalls at Muddy Bottoms
ATV & Recreation Park |
ATVriders.com:
There’s a big amphitheater behind the shower
house as well.
Jeff
Drost:
Yeah we’ve built this place around the idea
that live entertainment was going to be a
focal point of the park. We built the huge
amphitheater, supposedly the largest of it’s
kind between Atlanta and Dallas. When we spec’d
it out, we made sure it could handle the who’s
who of the music industry, like a Kid Rock,
Trace Adkins, or Florida-Georgia Line. They
would require certain stage sizes and power
requirements and this place meets all of that.
|
A
state of the art amphitheater will provide
a great venue for large name acts |
ATVriders.com:
You guys also have the Pro Shop as well?
Jeff
Drost:
Yeah our Pro Shop is kind of a Circle K meets
an Academy. We will have soda and chips and
snacks and all the way to ATV parts and accessories,
camping equipment, Muddy Bottoms apparel and
it’ll be a great feature for the park.
|
A
large pro shop will sell snacks &
drinks, camping gear, & ATV and
SxS parts & accessories as well
as Muddy Bottoms apparel |
ATVriders.com:
You have a service station for working on
your machines, and a cleaning facility as
well?
Jeff
Drost:
Yes sir, we will have a five-stall vendor
mechanic garage. Muddy Bottoms repair facility
with certified mechanics with hopefully all
of the types of parts you’ll need if you get
here and break something. We don’t want to
have you go home unhappy and we will have
everything to get you back on the trail. We
have a wash facility for all of the big trucks
if they want to drive through there and then
a smaller side for any ATV’s or SxS’s to get
all washed up. It’s kind of a way cool off
and knock the mud off your quads. It’s also
going to be free and included in the price
of admission.
|
A
fully staffed five bay repair garage
will open at all events |
ATVriders.com:
One of the big things you’re going to have
to that no one else has is a gas station.
Jeff
Drost:
Yeah we’re going to have a pay-at-the-pump
gas station. And we’re going to have ethanol-free
gas for the ATV’s that are really picky on
the type of fuel that they take, along with
regular gas and we’re even going to try to
have diesel out of there as well. I hate going
to these parks and having to tote around a
bunch of gas cans so we’re just trying to
make it as convenient as possible.

A
large eating pavilion will provide a
large enclosure to eat inside |
