Teryx 750 EFI Test Rides - Dealer Show Report

Kawasaki Teryx 750 Demo Rides were arranged
for the dealers and press |
Soon it was time for us to head out to the demo track
to see what the new Teryx 750 EFI 4x4 Sport was
made of. The track was 1.1 miles long and had 38
turns, which was more than enough to test the cornering
abilities of any machine. It also consisted of many
obstacles including hills, rocky sections, and some
off camber areas. Being that the location of the
track was in Texas, it did get a little dusty, but
that didn’t deter anyone from their turn of
taking a ride in Kawasaki’s impressive SxS.
The Teryx 750 Sport has a wider stance,
upgraded suspension and the first ever 750 V-twin
motor. The improved suspension and wider stance
make the machine seem a lot more stable on the
corners and the 750 EFI V-twin put out plenty
of power. “It was awesome! Once you ride
in one you won’t want to get out!”
said Terry with White Knuckle Motorsports in Utah.
Glen and Marci from Motorsports of New Jersey
also had nothing but good things to say about
the Teryx. “It was a blast!” said
Glen. “I really liked the course,”
added Marci. Glen was also impressed with the
changed to the Teryx. “The fuel injection
is awesome. They really did their homework,”
he stated.
For the record, we did not take the Teryx out
for a demo ride because there were some restrictions
set for the demo rides and we didn’t feel
we would be able to test the machine properly,
to its full capabilities, in order to give it
the test ride review it deserves, but keep a look
out for a future test ride review. Once we are
able to get our hands on one of these machines
and take it out on the track and in the woods
to really test its handling and performance capabilities
a full write up will follow.

The Kawasaki
Demo Track was filled with obstacles to
allow the dealers to really experience
what the Teryx is capable of through rocks,
logs, and more..

Even though we didn’t personally ride the
new Teryx we still had a great time. Kawasaki
made sure that everyone in attendance was kept
well entertained all weekend as they had some
extra curricular activities set up, including
attending the Mesquite Rodeo and a trip to the
Elm Fork Shooting Range where we were joined by
Tim Ferry and champion marksman, Scott Robertson.
In all, Kawasaki put on a fantastic display at
the dealer show, giving plenty of information
about the companies future operations, their long
range goals, their future product development,
and assurance of the company’s financial
stability. With Kawasaki’s strong marketing
campaign, innovative product design, and flexible
resources it appears Kawasaki’s future is
secure. As many of our nation’s industries
struggle during this economically trying time,
Kawasaki’s ingenuity almost guarantees that
they will continue to grow as a leader in the
motorsports industry.
