Jarrod
McClure Doubles Up with 2011 WORCS & GNCC
Racing
::Continued::
I actually finished a WORCS atv last week and
was able to head down to Florida to do some testing.
I drove down for a long weekend and hooked up
with Chris Borich and Johnny Gallagher to do some
riding when I was down there. Florida is the closest
place for me to test my WORCS setup because the
terrain is familiar to what the desert will be
like…big sand whoops and a wider course.
We also hit up some local motocross tracks to
brush up on my MX skills. After a long weekend
I feel very confident in my equipment and myself.
I’d like to give a huge thanks to Chris
Borich for letting me crash at his house while
I was down there!

I am super excited for the upcoming season. After
my crash at Powerline Park last year, I ended
up with my right arm in a cast for six weeks,
but with help from Marc Spataro from Motopro Training,
I was able to bounce back quickly. I have been
hitting the gym regularly and started taking Spinn
class, which will kick your but! I will start
the year still recovering, but getting hurt is
part of racing and I plan on pulling through quickly!
I am leaving tomorrow to drive to California.
My first race is in Taft, which is north of Los
Angeles. From there I am planning on going to
Mike Cafro’s house to say with him and try
and squeeze some tips out of the desert legend!
I plan on doing some testing and training out
there before I come home and have to begin building
my GNCC quad for Florida.
