H-Bomb
Film's Caleb Moore pulled 2 Back Flips on
his Polaris Outlaw, which had the crowd
going crazy because he wasn't expected to
flip because of the high winds |
Just before Suicidal Tendencies played, the Bomb
Squad and Metal Mulisha, who had been standing
by due to high winds, decided to get it on for
the crowd that had grown to about 3,000 people
throughout the day. For the Bomb Squad, we had
Caleb and Colten Moore, the brothers from Krum,
Texas. The Metal Mulisha provided a couple of
their best, Jimmy Fitzpatrick and Jeremy Lusk,
both out of Temecula, CA.
Both teams worked together to stun the crowd.
No one from the crowd expected to see Caleb Moore
back flip his Polaris Outlaw 525S, and he did
it not once, but twice! Many families showed up
for the freestyle show and it was really great
to see so many happy faces. I don’t think
anyone walked away disappointed.
Just as the freestyle show ended, Suicidal Tendencies
came onto the stage and played for 75 minutes.
It was great because the singer, Mike Muir, had
no idea there was a place like this. They had
a great time on stage and it reflected to the
crowd. Mike Clark, guitar player from S.T., invited
my son, Benjamin, on stage with them. I quickly
ran back to camp to grab his Guitar Hero guitar
to give to him on stage. For the remainder of
the show, he was part of the band! What an experience
for a 9-year-old! He’s now taking guitar
lessons.

A large crowd
of Suicidial Tendencies fans gathered
around the Jagermeister stage for an incredible
performance by the band, which had the
crowd cheering for the entire show
|
Lastly, Wes Miller and H-Bomb Films premiered
the new release of Huevos 10 to the crowd. The
movie got great reviews and comically, we were
only able to show it in black and white!

Premiered Huevos 10 at the Sand Riot,
and Doug Eichner had a front row seat
in his Polaris Rzr to watch the debut

Eeveryone
that attended the Sand Riot appeared to
be having a blast just like this crowd that
didn't let the cold & windy weather
keep them from having some fun |
Sure, the weather was terrible the day before
and day of the event, but those who were patient
were definitely rewarded with a great time as
the wind subsided about 5pm. We definitely consider
the Sand Riot 2007 a success and look forward
to the 2008 event scheduled for November 22nd,
2008. We hope you will make plans to be there!
