“The terrain was awesome. The side by side worked well and the trails were all wide enough. The terrain wasn’t real technical, but it had some cool rocky up hills and a few creek crossings” said Wenzel about his time on the trail.

Tim Fesko, owner of Medowcliff Lodge & RV Resort & co-founder of the Eastern Sierra ATV & SxS / UTV Jamboree hosted a BBQ Thursday evening for Jamboree attendees

The great atmosphere didn’t end with the daily rides. Friendship and fun continued with the cookout that was held Thursday evening. Tim Fesko, owner of the Medowcliff Lodge and RV Resort hosted a BBQ. We were served great tasting chicken, corn on the cob and more. The Medowcliff Lodge features 20 rooms, 34 RV sites and a restaurant. Many Jamboree attendees make the Medowcliff their home base due to its close proximity to the event.

Fesko, who also co-founded the event is proud to be a part of the fifth annual Jamboree and is excited for the growth that the event experiences each year.

The Eastern Sierra ATV & SxS / UTV Jamboree features over 250 miles of trails & featured eight guided trail rides this year

“The event runs on over 250 miles of trail. This year we had eight trail rides and we plan to have 19 next year. We even hope to include a 240 mile overnight trek that will take riders into Nevada,” said Fesko.

I ended my night at the Topaz Lodge and Casino. The Topaz Lodge is located just 12 miles from the Jamboree and offers a great place to stay with an exciting casino and on site restaurant. They also have full RV hook ups.

The event is already scheduled for next year and will be held June 11–15th, 2013. This is a great event for the entire family and any skill level rider. The fee per rider is $150 or $90 per child, ages 16 and under. The registration fee includes a full breakfast each morning, four days of guided trail riding, dinner on Saturday evening, a T-shirt and chances to win prizes throughout the event. Riders can also pre-order a bagged lunch each day from the local boy scouts, pack their own or opt for a chicken and steak lunch on the rides that offer it.

Bandannas & other forms of breathing apparatus are recommend at the Eastern Sierra Jamboree. Eye wear, of course, recommended.. even for your dog

We recommend you wear a bandanna or another form of breathing apparatus because the dust can get heavy at times while riding. Also don’t forget to pack extra air filters and cleaning solution to keep your ATV or SxS running smoothly.

Overall, I had a great time aboard the KYMCO Maxxer 450i and hope to attend the Eastern Sierra Jamboree in 2013. The event is always expanding and will even have an overnight riding trip next year. We highly recommend this trip; with over 240 miles of trail to explore you will have a great experience year after year.
