2011 Brimstone Recreation
SxS / ATV Round Up Event Report
::Continued::

The
GBC Tire Mud Bog Dash for Cash was a
big hit this year as the competition
was just as fierce as the SxS &
ATV racing that took place earlier that
day! |
On top of the mountain is were
a lot of the events and action took place. Friday
started the event with the demo rides and Saturday
started the races and organized events. Saturday
had events on the main race grounds and we got
to watch Drag Racing, Pole Bending, Sled Pull,
Mud Bog and the Obstacle course. This took up
the better part of the day and before they wrapped
up the gloves came off and the women’s
mud dash for cash closed out the events. About
8 girls and women made the run through the mud
bog course and just one determined young lady
took the win and claimed the $250 cash.

This
lucky young lady made her way threw
the deep water & mud to win $250
cash |
The events wrapped up just in
time for every one to get back grab some dinner
and then climb back up to the top of the mountain
to settle in for the main event of entertainment.
The young country singer that lead the concert
off got some extra playing time before the headliner
Tracy Lawrence came on stage due to some windy
weather and the threat of rain.

A
young up & coming country singer
warmed up the crowd before Tracy Lawrence
hit the stage later that night |
Country
Star Tracy Lawrence headlined the Can-Am
Center Stage & sang many of his
hits including "Time Marches On"
|
The young singer revved up the
crowd and made some new friends with his extra
time. Right about 8:30 Saturday Night Tracy
came out and lit up the stage! Tracy played
quite a list of his new and old songs and every
one that I spoke with really enjoyed the show
from start to finish. During the show, one of
the promoters let it slip that they are in “negotiations”
with Lynard Skynard for their next Jamboree
weekend. The crowd reacted in style and the
plans were already being made for the next Jamboree.
