Waldo, FL (3/7/2013) -Three AMA Pro ATV rookies and a sophomore pro have spent their winter training and prepping at Waldo Motorsports in Waldo, FL. Ronnie Higgerson, Cody Suggs, Nick Moser and Kyle Fix have been putting in daily motos at the track as they prepare for the 2013 Mtn. Dew AMA ATV Pro ATV Motocross season opener at Aonia Pass on March 23rd.
Waldo Motorsports is one of the finest motocross tracks in Florida. The track is located just 20 minutes from Gainesville, FL. The track offers camper hookups for $25 a night and has a great atmosphere for riders and families. Waldo offers an annual membership for $25; with the annual membership it only costs $20 per day. For riders just passing by, Waldo offers a day membership and ride pass for just $30.
The track features deep sand whoops and clay turns to give riders a bit of variety. All the racers admit the track can get pretty rough, but it helps their training. “If you can do a 25 minute moto at Waldo, you can do a 25 minute moto anywhere,” said Higgerson.

ATVriders.com stopped by Waldo to do photo shoots with the racers and find out how their offseason has been progressing. #665 Ronnie Higgerson, is coming back to the Pro class after a season ending injury in 2012. Higgerson injured his shoulder while working on the farm and the injury resulted in surgery.

#665 Ronnie Higgerson will back racing in the AMA ATV MX Pro Class in 2013. This year Higgerson has made the switch from a Suzuki LTR450 ATV to a BCS powered Can-AM DS450 ATV. Higgerson plans on racing both Pro & Pro-Am classes in 2013 |
This year Higgerson made the switch from the Suzuki LTR450 to a BCS Can-Am DS450. With the 2013 season just two and a half weeks away he is working hard to make sure his new program is top notch. Higgerson plans to race his new DS450 in both the Pro and Pro Am class to start out the year.
