Pro Motorsports’ Takes BITD Parker 250 Pro Quad Win
Jeff Hancock & Josh Row Win Best in the Desert Parker 250

Tempe, AZ (1/15/2016) - Pro Motorsports’ Jeff Hancock and Josh Row teamed up to win the Best in the Desert Parker 250. The duo rode their Elka/Roll Design/Sparks/Maxxis Honda to nearly a fifteen minute margin of victory in the Quad Pro Class.

The defending BITD champion, Jeff Hancock, started the race and took the lead at mile marker ten. He then handed off to Row and the pair dominated the race on the fast and nearly dust-free track, splitting the time for the nearly 250 mile long race, and Josh Row was sitting in for Matt Hancock, who was running a WORCS race this weekend in California.

“I’m super excited,” said Hancock. “I wish Matthew could have been here, but Josh definitely did his part. We’re running the same setup as last year with Elka Suspension, Roll Design, Curtis Sparks Motor, Maxxis Tires, and Tire Blocks. The Honda ran flawlessly today.”

Row was pleased to be filling in for Matthew Hancock and ran his first BITD race since 2007. He said the Sparks engine made their Honda unbeatable.

“The race was awesome and the track was really fast,” said Row. “The rain from the previous week made the track really good. It was a good time catching the bikes in front of us without the dust. I was really stoked. Jeff started and handed me the bike in the lead. I was having so much fun I didn’t want the race to be over! The Curtis Sparks motor makes it not even fair because it’s so fast.”

Hancock wanted to send word out that injured racer and friend Steven Parkerson is recovering after a crash during the event. “My thoughts and prayers are with him,” said Hancock. “He is moving his arms and I think he’s going to be strong and pull through. We’re trying to raise funds to help him through his recovery.”

Matthew Hancock will join his brother, Jeff, for the next round of the BITD Series in Laughlin, NV at the UTV World Championship on February 19-20th as the pair goes for another win.
