Track Series
Trafford, PA (1/25/2016) -The
NE EDT series is excited to announce some changes
to take place for the 2016 season. The series
in an effort to offer riders more opportunities
and options so they can also enjoy some of the
other great TT series or other forms of racing
series available or also find a way to still seek
a Championship if you are simply unable to attend
all 7 rounds of the National NE EDT Championship
series. The NE EDT is going to offer an opportunity
to seek a Smaller scale Regional NE EDT Championship.
The 4 rounds down south in North Carolina at Kinston,
Busco Beach, and Wadesboro will be part of the
Southern Regional NE EDT Championship Series
The 3 Northern rounds plus one additional round
will be part of the Northern Regional NE EDT Championship
Series. They will include Michigan, Pennsylvania
and Pine Lake. For a 4th round of the Northern
NE EDT Championship Regional Series we are pleased
to have a special track and someone that has been
a supporter of TT racing for a very long time
as a partner for this special race. Just so there
is no confusion this additional race will only
be scored towards the Northern NE EDT Championship
Series and not part of the 7 round series. The
NE EDT series is excited to announce the Sept.
3rd, 2016 TBD race will take place in Hutchinson
Minnesota in a partnership with Rath Racing, who
plans to put together something special for the
NE EDT series riders who can make this trip.
All points earned (except the round at Hutchinson,
Minnesota) goes towards the 7 round National NE
EDT Championship Series. The rider is each class
that scores the most points in the Southern Regional
Rounds will be crowned the Southern Regional NE
EDT Class Champion, and for the Northern rounds
the riders that scores the most points in the
Northern Rounds will be awards the Northern Regional
NE EDT Championship.
A riders must attend at least 3 rounds to qualify
for the National NE EDT Championship Series Points
Championship at the end of the season.
We hope for the riders down south this gives you
an opportunity to compete for a NE EDT Regional
Championship but also you can enjoy and compete
in the North Carolina ATV Riders series or the
East Coast EDT series, and/or the National EDT
Series also to have a great year of TT Racing
if you are unable to attend all 7 rounds of the
NE EDT National Championship Series.
For the riders up North we hope this gives you
the opportunity for some of the Mid-west Riders
or the Riders up North an opportunity to compete
for a Northern Regional NE EDT Championship and
also can still compete in any other great series
like the local series that Rath Racing is planning
in Hutchinson, Minn., MW-EDT, AMA EDT series and/or
all the other great series offered and available.
The growth of TT Racing stops and starts with
every rider and series involved in an effort to
continue to grow our sport. Thanks again for a
wonderful 2015 season and the NE EDT series is
excited to get things started in April in Kinston,
North Carolina in 2016. See you there!!
