- LSR / GPS’ David Flores made his WORCS Racing Pro ATV debut at South Point Casino in Las Vegas, NV. Flores fought through wiring issues and a dislocated shoulder to finish ninth.

Flores started sixth and was charging to the front when a collision with another rider sent him off his ATV and, in the process, dislocated his shoulder. He fought through the pain to score the top 10.

“I crashed pretty hard,” said Flores. “I dislocated my shoulder and didn’t notice it. When I pulled the bike, it popped back in. The adrenaline took away the pain for the first part of the race, but once it wore off, the pain was excruciating. I just tried to put my head down and ride a good race. I tried to get a finish to get some points. By the end of the race, the bike started stalling. It wasn’t the best weekend as far as results, but it felt good to be back on the bike. We’ll be at Havasu and ready to go.”
Flores made his first start in the WORCS Round 3 after missing the first two races of the season. He is happy that his off-season training is paying off.
“It’s pretty exciting to be in the Pro Class this year,” said Flores. “There is no playing around. You really have to train and work hard. I really had to step up my game. Overall, it was a pretty good weekend for our first Pro race.”
Flores will be back in action March 18-20 as WORCS heads to Lake Havasu, AZ for a doubleheader weekend.
