Holz Racers Dominates South Point Casino WORCS
Holz Racing WORCS Round 3 Race Report

Lynden, WA (3/3/2016) - RJ Anderson led a crowd of Holz racers who dominated WORCS Side by Side competition in Round 3 at South Point Casino. Anderson won his first SXS Pro Race of the season and the top four were all driving Holz built Polaris RZRs.

Anderson, Mickey Thomas, Beau Baron, and Ryan Holz finished first through fourth in the Pro SxS class, and Anderson made no bones about the quality of Holz Racing Products.

“Holz Racing Products speak for themselves,” said Anderson. “They got the top four here and there is nothing more to talk about. I can’t say enough about those guys. They build the best parts for the Polaris RZR.”

Thomas was a man on a mission in Vegas after competing in a Lucas Oil Off Road race in San Bernardino, CA earlier in the day, Thomas traveled over 200 miles to race at that evening in the WORCS event.

“I didn’t even take off my race suit today,” laughed Thomas. “I’m still chasing my first WORCS win, but I’m happy. Traffic was tough here and that was really the biggest battle. We’re happy to be in second and extend our points lead. It was nice not to have to worry about my RZR. Holz is second to none.”

Baron had to work his way from back to front to earn the last spot on the podium. His calm driving style in his Holz Polaris RZR was a sight to see.

“I knew I had to be calm,” said Baron. “Because if you get riled up here, you’ll get stuck on a log or hit one of these containers so easy, and people were doing it all over the place. The Holz Polaris did awesome. The thing works so well. When it’s on, it’s on.”

Ryan Holz has been building momentum early this season, and finished fourth. He said the track got more difficult at the end of the 30-minute race, but he had faith in his Holz-prepared RZR.

“The track got really rough at the end, so I had to be really on point to get around,” said Holz. “I had a couple of bad runs at the beginning of the season, but I’m building momentum which I hope to carry through to Lake Havasu.”

In Pro Stock, Codey Rowley drove his Polaris to a second-place finish. The Las Vegas native thrilled the local crowd with the runner-up finish, and padded his points lead with his third consecutive podium.

“I’m stoked to come out of this race with all four wheels on my car,” said Rowley. “I came in here just trying to get through this weekend and hang onto the points lead. I’m going to keep taking it race by race and try to finish on the podium.”

In the SXS Woman’s race, point’s leader Danielle Weatherly kept her perfect streak alive as she won her third-straight race. Shelby Anderson kept her win streak alive in SXS 1000, dominating her third race in a row.
