Bakersfield, CA (3/23/2016) - H&M Motorsports’ David Haagsma took the lead on the first lap and dominated the WORCS Pro SxS race at Crazy Horse Campgrounds to claim his second victory of the season.

Haagsma was on a mission from the first lap, charging past another competitor who had trouble at the start. From there, he set sail and was never seriously challenged.
“I have to thank Sparks for the great start,” said Haagsma. “I was right behind Matt (Hancock) and he had an issue. He went to the left, and I just passed him on the right. From there, I just ran my own race. I just watched out for the lappers. I had a decent lead, so I babied it and won.”

In four races this season, Haagsma has won two and dropped out with mechanical issues in two. “When the car stays together and I don’t break it, I win,” said Haagsma. “The track was pretty good. It’s hard to pass, so the start really paid off. It’s hard on the cars, so you see people flipping and breaking down.”
Haagsma was pleased to deliver another victory to his team. “Cognito, Maxxis, Sparks, all those guys work really hard to get this car right,” explained Haagsma. “So to get them the win that the car deserved, is great.”
Once again, Haagsma opted not to race in the Pro ATV race as he prepares for Round 2 of the AMA ATV Motocross National Championship series, April 9-10 at Underground MX in Texas.
