Webster overcame the sheer difficulty of the rough course and came out of an intense battle to record the runner-up finish. Interestingly, Webster earned his first WORCS podium at this race last year.
“I train in sand, so I’m used to it,” explained Webster. “I’ve been waiting to do this all year long. I’ve been putting in the work during the week and it’s paying off. I had an inside line at the end of the race and just held it on the white flag. I did what I had to do.”

Webster ran Tire Blocks for the first time in his DWT Tires during the Sand Hollow race. It was a winning combination.
“My DWT Tires were working great,” said Webster. “I’ve been with DWT tires for six years and they’ve always been great. I ran Tire Blocks for the first time, so I have to thank Kenny for that. The DWT Tires are super tough, but to have a little insurance, especially with all of the rocks out there, was inspiring.”
The podium moves Webster up to fourth in the championship, just 37 points out of the lead heading into the next race May 6-8 in Mesquite, NV.
