Motocross Holeshot, which was impressive
feat to say the least |
Sepesi just returned to racing after taking some time off to let a back injury heal up. “My back is doing good. I basically took a month off after Red Bud and completely healed up. I decided to try the Pro class and just see where I was standing,” explained Sepesi.
When the gate dropped for moto one, Sepesi’s first ever Pro holeshot, he made his presence known with a second place start right behind Joel Hetrick. “First moto, I had a great holeshot second to Joel and got pushed around a little bit, but it was a lot of fun.”

Second moto, Sepesi’s 345 Motorsports Yamaha launched off the gate to another great start around third place. “I kept pushing and made it longer stamina wise than the first moto. I just need to keep working to get up front,” stated Sepesi.
Sepesi’s sponsors have been a huge part of his success this season. “ The Maxxis tires are hooking up great. Harold Goodman has been a crucial part of my program, I go over there all the time, and we work on everything from the suspension to the engine. My Elka’s are working awesome combined with that Rage motor that keeps pulling hard. It was a really good season with the 345 motorsports team, and I am excited for next season.”

Despite injuries and adversity, Sepesi persevered this season and looks to build on that for an even more successful 2017 season. “It was a rough season with injuries but overall it was good, and I won a championship even with the injury. It gave me an idea where I need to be for next year,” explained Sepesi.
The winter break will give Sepesi the time to allow for his back to completely heal, so he will be ready for the start of the 2017 ATV Motocross season.
