Phoenix, AZ (5/29/2015) -
Lonestar/JRi’s David Flores claimed
a podium finish with a third place in the Pro-am
ATV class at round six of the 2015 WORCS series
and took the win in the Production A class,
where he holds the points lead.
Iron Mine Race Park in Cedar City, UT was
the hosting facility for round six of the
series. Rain that fell prior to the races
allowed for good traction and let David Flores
take good finishes this weekend.

Racing's David Flores Finishes Third
in WORCS Pro-Am |
In the Production A class, Flores didn’t
get the start he wanted, but he made up for
it in the motocross section and took the lead
early in the race. “I didn’t have the best
start, but I really liked the motocross track
and the whole course was great. It was tacky
and I had good traction with my GoldSpeed
tires and that really made a difference,”
said Flores.
“I tried to pick good lines and after the
first lap, I was able to pull some good lap
times and get a nice lead. My Lonestar/JRi
suspension did well out there. I also really
have to thank Adam Barnes for letting me borrow
his rear shock. I was in a pinch and he came
through and that helped me get the win,” said
Flores.

Racing's David Flores Won the Production
A Class |
Flores is the defending Production A champion
and currently holds a 12 point advantage in
championship points and Flores is determined
to keep it that way. “I just really want to
stay consistent and stay on the podium for
the rest of the season and bring home another
championship,” said Flores.
In the Pro-am class, David Flores was in
second off the start and immediately started
to challenge for the lead. Flores made his
move and took the lead and started pulling
away. Unfortunately, rain moved late in the
race and he began to have issues and fell
back for a third place finish. “We were battling
hard the first lap and I took the lead for
about three laps. As soon as the rain moved
in, it was really cold and it cooled me off
too fast and I started having issues out there.
I tried to shake it off but that didn’t happen.
I ended up finishing in third, but I am really
happy that I finished,” said Flores.
