- Lonestar / JRi’s David Flores claimed two podium finishes in Pro-Am and won the Production A race at Round 7 of the WORCS Racing Series held at Straddleline ORV Park in Olympia, WA. His third-straight win in Production A allowed him to increase his lead in the championship race by 33 points.
This weekend’s race featured two points events for Pro-Am: The WORCS-X on Saturday, which was a four-lap event on an Enduro Cross course, which consisted on tires, logs, mud, and jumps. On Sunday, the Pro-Am racers were back in action for the normal format WORCS Racing event, and Flores was up to the challenge as he scored two-second place finishes.

“This track is really technical, which I like,” added Flores. “I put together some good laps. The Goldspeed tires really helped me out on this track. My Lonestar motor was ripping it up. The Rekluse Clutch was really helpful in the slow technical stuff. I was able to just gas and go. The JRi Suspension really helped soak up the bumps.”
Starting last in Sunday’s WORCS Pro-Am race, Flores battled more dusty conditions and the trees lining the course to drive through the field for his third overall podium of the weekend. “This is not what I wanted, but I’m just glad I finished on the podium,” said Flores. “I didn’t do too well in this race last year, so to get a second-place finish especially after starting last, is great.”
