El Cajon, CA (1/21/2015) - 417 Motorsports’ Josh Row started his season off with a solid fourth place finish in the Pro ATV class at round one of the 2015 WORCS series at Honolulu Hills, MX in Taft, CA.

Last year, Josh Row ended his WORCS season with a career best, a third place finish in the series championship points and this year, with the support of sponsors, Sparks, Elka and Roll Design, he is planning to build on that and take it to the next level.

A rough track and foggy conditions were on hand for the season opener of the 2015 WORCS series but Josh Row wasn’t too worried about it. “The fog was pretty thick during practice on Friday but for our race on Sunday it wasn’t bad and really helped to keep the dust down,” said Row.

Row came off the line of the dead engine start in the number four spot and stayed close to the leaders. Row began to fade a bit at the midway point of the race, but persevered. “I had a decent start. My Sparks Engine fired right up and my Elka/Roll Design suspension worked really good out there. It was a totally different track than what we rode during practice though and none of my lines were working for me, so I was struggling a little at first. It started coming together for me after a few laps but it was just a little too late,” said Row.

Despite the challenges, Row stayed on the gas and charged his way to a fourth place finish. “I tried to catch Robbie Mitchell, but it was really rough out there with a lot of square edges and it was hard to catch up. I wanted to be up on the box but I just missed it. To be in the championship hunt you have to be on the box consistently. I will be heading down to Baja to race in the San Felipe 250 on January 22 – 25, so that will get me a little more seat time and hopefully make a difference and get me on the podium at Primm,” said Row.

Round number two of the 2015 WORCS series will head to Buffalo Bills in Primm, NV on February 6-8 where Josh Row will be looking for redemption and a spot on the Pro ATV podium.
