417 Motorsports’ Josh Row
claimed a top five finish at round number
two of the 2015 WORCS series at Buffalo Bill’s
in Primm, NV this past weekend where tough
conditions weren’t the only challenges he
faced.
Round two of the WORCS series was a combined
race with both ATV’s and dirt bikes on the
course at the same time for the Pro races
on Sunday. This created some tough conditions
and a very rough track. Although Josh Row
was ready for the challenge, there was much
weighing on his mind after his father Greg
Row suffered a heart attack during Friday’s
practice session and remained in the hospital
during Sunday’s races. While Mr. Row is expected
to make a full recovery, this was an obvious
distraction for Josh.

Josh Row found himself battling with
the WORCS Racing Pro Motorcycles in
the first lap at Buffalo Bill's WORCS |
Despite the circumstances presented, Josh
Row lined up on Sunday for the Pro ATV main
event and rode a solid race. Row was in the
number four spot off the start and was immediately
engaged in battle. About half way into the
first lap, Row and his challenger caught up
to the dirt bikes. “My Sparks engine gave
me a good start and I was battling hard with
Garrin Fuller. We ended up catching the dirt
bikes about half way through the first lap
and they kind of got in between us and got
in the way. I ended up falling back and just
kind of stayed in fifth after that,” explained
Row.
Row’s Elka/Roll Design suspension kept him
from getting fatigued and allowed him to keep
a steady pace despite the deep ruts and rough
conditions. “It was a high speed, sandy course
and it got so rough out there, but my suspension
soaked it all up,” said Row who ended his
day with a fifth place finish.

“I am actually looking forward to the next
round. It is a tighter, more technical course,
which is what I really like and do well on.
It should be a good race and I am looking
forward to being on the podium because I am
so over this fifth place stuff,” said Row.
Round three of the of the 2015 WORCS series
will head to Canyon MX in Peoria, AZ on February
27-March 1st where Josh Row will be going
for the podium.
