- JB Racing/Livewire’s Blake Sarver plowed through
a rough and technical circuit to record solid
finishes during Round 7 of the Mt. Dew AMA ATV
Motocross National Championship June 25-26 at
Spring Creek MX in Millville, MN. Sarver finished
fifth overall in Production B, and recorded a
10th-place finish in 450 B.
Sarver finished second in the first Production
B moto, followed up with a seventh-place effort
in the second moto. “My ITP Tires helped me get
a great start in the first moto,” said Sarver.
“I came off the line fifth, had some good battles
and made some passes. We just ran out of time.
It rained before the second moto, I had trouble
at the start and came out 15th. I battled back
in the mud to finish seventh.”
Logan Dusenberry had a tough weekend finishing
14th in 450 B, 17th in Production B, and 15th
in College (16-24). “We had some really rotten
luck this weekend,” said Dusenberry. “On Saturday,
I didn’t ride as well as I would have liked. On
Sunday, my clutch went out while I was running
fourth in 450 B. We also had a crash in the second
College moto and I got a rock stuck in my tire
while running second in Production B. So it was
not a good weekend, but we’ll regroup for Unadilla.”
Logan Peters was 8th in 90 Open Jr. (8-11) and
9th in 90 Shifter (8-11). Tyler Peters was at
the track during the weekend, but sat out competition
while recovering from a concussion sustained in
Round 5 at the Ironman MX.
Round 8 of the 2015 Mt. Dew AMA ATV Motocross
Championships will have the JB Racing/Livewire
team heading to Unadilla MX in New Berlin, NY
July 11-12th.
