- JB Racing/Livewire’s Blake Sarver overcame rainy
and muddy racing conditions to put in two solid
runs during Round 6 of the Mt. Dew AMA ATV Motocross
National Championship event June 13th at Sunset
Ridge in Walnut, IL. Sarver was sixth in 450 B,
and recorded a ninth-place showing in Production
B.
“It was muddy,” said Sarver. “I got a decent
holeshot in 450B and worked my way up to third,
but because we only ran the one moto due to the
rain, I was sixth. In Production B, it started
pouring down rain at the start. During the first
lap I had to take off my goggles, and the mud
really hurt my finish.”

Logan Dusenberry finished fourth in 450 B, and
notched 11th-place finishes in both Production
B and College (16-24). The single moto format
didn’t work in Dusenberry’s favor at Sunset Ridge,
but he remains top five in the points championship
in both Production B and 450B.

For Logan Peters both his races were in the deep
mud, which caused him issues, and he went on to
finish ninth in 90 Open Jr. (8-11) and 14th in
90 Shifter (8-11).
Tyler Peters sat out the Sunset Ridge round as
he is still recovering from a concussion sustained
in Round 5 at the Iron Man MX, but hopefully he
will be back in action at the next round of racing.
Round Seven of the 2015 Mt. Dew AMA ATV motocross
Championships will have the JB Racing/Livewire
team heading to Spring Creek MX in Millville,
MN on June 27.
