East Springfield, PA (8/21/2015)
- JB Racing/Liquid Wrench team riders competed in
round ten, the final round of the 2015 AMA ATV MX
National Championship, at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch.
Grayson Eller put in a strong ride to clinch the
overall win in Schoolboy Jr for his final youth
class win.
JB Racing/Liquid Wrench’s Grayson Eller took
two top five finishes from Loretta Lynn’s. In
Schoolboy Jr., Eller swept both moto wins for
first place overall. “The first moto wasn’t so
easy. I got passed early on, but I did the best
I could and ended up with the win. Today made
it a whole lot easier with a better start. I just
kept my head down and didn’t let anything bother
me. I was in my zone. I wanted to win here so
bad. It was a big day for me. It was a great way
to end my youth career,” explained Eller, who
finished second in the national championship points.

Eller also competed in Schoolboy Sr. and Youth
All Star. “I got fifth in Schoolboy Sr. and sixth
in Youth All Star overall. Youth all star was
pretty tough, we had to do qualifiers. I made
quick passes and pushed hard for sixth overall,”
said Eller.

JB Racing/ Liquid Wrench’s Peyton Zimmerman finished
the season strong with another overall win in
Supermini, and a national championship. “First
moto of Supermini I came out about fourth in the
start, and by the time the second lap came around
I was in first. I pulled a good 3-4 second lead
in that class and just kept on pushing and made
it happen. Second moto I came out about fourth
again and got stuck in third for a little bit,
but then I got around last lap. Winning Supermini
this year is definitely something to be proud
of,” stated Zimmerman.

In Youth All Star, Zimmerman won the first moto,
but he ran into trouble in the second moto, which
caused him to take a fourteenth, and ruined his
chance for the overall win. Thinking back on the
year, Zimmeran said, “The season as a whole went
pretty good. Winning Supermini is something to
be proud of, and for my first year on 250’s, I
took second in points, so I’m really happy. I’m
getting to where I want to be pretty fast. I’m
pushing towards my goal of becoming a pro.”

Maddie Guyer sealed the deal on top five finishes
in both of the classes she competed in. In Schoolgirl,
Guyer went 6-3 for fourth overall. “First moto
in schoolgirl, I was winning and my chain broke.
In the second moto, I got third even after hitting
a kicker wrong, which threw me off, but I got
back up, so it’s all good,” explained Guyer.

In the highly competitive women’s class, Guyer
went 5-5 for fifth overall. This is Guyer’s last
season as she is going into her senior year of
high school, and has decided to focus on that.
“I’m a senior now, so I just want to be home to
do my senior year and live that experience because
it only comes once, and I have raced for nine
years now,” said Guyer. The hard work ethic Guyer
has learned from her years of racing will surely
bring her success wherever life takes her.
