Ontario, CA
(6/3/2015) - The ITP Tires ATV motocross
racing team had a successful weekend at the inaugural
Ironman MX event in Crawfordsville, Ind., winning
a dozen classes. Despite heavy rains that drenched
the course for some classes, the team earned 19
podiums at round five of the Mtn. Dew ATV MX National
Championship Series.

Sam
Rowe (center), using ITP tires on his RRR-supported
Honda ATV, found plenty of traction on his
way to winning both the Pro-Am and Pro Sport
(Pro-Am / A) classes at the Ironman MX event
in Crawfordsville, Ind. |
"In spite of some heavy downpours, many
of our racers overcame the elements, conditions
and competition to earn big wins and, in other
classes, valuable podium finishes in an effort
to maintain their championship hopes." said
Pat McGuire, Public Relations / Race Support.
"We currently have seven racers leading their
respective classes in points and 14 additional
riders who are in the top three in their class
standings, so we will continue to push for wins
at every round."

Peyton
Zimmerman came away with two class victories,
using ITP QuadCross MX2 and QuadCross MX
Pro rears, at round five in Indiana. |
Round five of the 2015 Mtn. Dew ATV MX National
Championship series, sanctioned by AMA Pro Racing,
made its first-ever stop to Ironman Motocross
in Crawfordsville, Ind., a site new to four-wheel
MX, but has hosted the most popular Grand National
Cross Country (GNCC) race for many years. ITP
had dozens of racers competing in several classes,
including the Pro, Pro-Am and numerous amateur
categories for various ages and skills.
Five racers posted two wins apiece using ITP,
earning 10 of the team's 12 victories in Indiana.
"Factory" Sam Rowe rode his Root River
Racing, Rage ATV and Pepsi-backed Honda, outfitted
with ITP tires. His strategy included running
ITP QuadCross 2 shorts 20x6-10 and QuadCross 18x10-8
rears on Saturday and QuadCross 2 long 20x6-10
and GNCC 20x10-9 rears in the mud on Sunday. Rowe
posted 1-1 moto sweeps in both the Pro-Am and
Pro Sport (Pro-Am / A) classes to earn his first
moto wins and overall victories of the year.

/ ITP, Tyler Mack won both the 450 B and
Production B ranks in Indiana. |
Suzuki racer Cody Gifford (Walsh / Bard Machine)
won both the Production A (2-3) and 450 A (1-1
sweep) to extend his points lead in both classes.
Riding the No. 33 Honda, backed by RRR / Rage
ATV / ITP, Tyler Mack won three of four motos
he entered to earn victories in the 450 B and
Production B classes at round five. He's currently
third in 450 B and the points leader in Production
B.

Cody
Gifford won two A classes aboard his Walsh-backed
Suzuki outfitted with ITP tires. Now with
nine total podiums and six overall wins,
he's the current points leader in both the
Production A and 450 A classes after five
rounds of racing. |
Two youth racers also tallied double victories
in Indiana. Grayson Eller (Cheerwine / JB Racing
/ Makson) put his ITP-clad ATV on the box in two
Schoolboy classes (Sr. / Jr.), notching his first
overall wins of the season. Not to be outdone,
Peyton Zimmerman (Zimmerman Racing / Makson /
FTR) took his No. 721 Honda to victory in the
Youth All Star (13-15) and the Super Mini (12-15)
classes. He's the current Youth All Star class
points leader.

Grayson
Eller won two classes at round five using
ITP QuadCross MX tires on his Cheerwine
/ Hetrick Racing / Makson-backed No. 171
quad. |
Megan Manshack has won all four rounds she has
competed in the Women's class this year. The Ironman
MX finish was her fourth 1-1 sweep of 2015. Suzuki
racer Lucas Lamons also scored his first overall
win of 2015 with a 1-1 moto sweep in the Junior
25+ class.
Team ITP racers also had several second-place
finishes in Indiana. Haedyn Mickelson (450 A,
Honda), Logan Dusenberry (450 B, Can-Am), Maddie
Guyer (Women, Can-Am) Johanna Vossman (Schoolgirl
13-17, JB Racing) all finished runner-up in at
least one class. Youth racers Brogan Guyer, with
two, and Niamh Shaw each posted third-place finishes
at round five.

Logan
Dusenberry used ITP QuadCross MX tires on
the tacky Ironman MX dirt to ride his No.
34 Can-Am ATV to his second-straight class
runner-up podium finish in the Production
B class. |
Round six of the Mtn. Dew ATV MX National Championship
Series is slated to stop at Sunset Ridge, June
13-14, in Walnut, Ill.
