Galena, IL (5/20/2015) - This weekend the AMA ATV Mtn. Dew Pro MX Series headed to Mt. Morris, Penn. where High Point Raceway hosted the fifth round of racing for the national series. Wienen Motorsports Chad Wienen once again took to the podium at the end of the day taking second overall after a 2-2 finish.
As the gate dropped in moto 1, Wienen grabbed the SSi Decals holeshot award and put his YFZ out in front of the rest of the field. Wienen maintained the lead for the first three laps and then Wienen fell back into second and was unable to retake the lead, coming across the finish line in second.

In moto 2, Wienen came out of the first turn in the front of the field just behind the holeshot winner and the pace quickly escalated. By the end of the first lap, Wienen had moved his way into first. After running out front for the first four laps, Wienen was passed and had an intense battle switching the lead back and forth with the moto 1 winner. By the time the checkers flew, Wienen came across the finish line in second and the top two riders had a thirty second lead over the rest of the field.
"I really enjoyed riding the track this weekend. The track crew put in a lot of work and made some great changes to High Point. Being on the podium at the end of the day, always makes for a great day but I am looking forward to the next round of racing and working hard until then to get back to that top spot on the podium and work on getting back some valuable championship points." Said Wienen.
