HELP: size for rear axle hub nut?

I must buy the socket and I need to know the size of the nut that holds the rear hub on the axle.
    Any help would be appreciated.

Its really expensive like 60 something dollars I think. I just used a pipe wrench with a rag on the nut. It worked great.

the hub for the rear wheels, or the hub for the brake disc..?

the rear wheel hubs are 27mm's (I think, not 100% on that)..

the locknut for the rear axle I have no Idea.. I have a 20" adjustable wrench (quality wrench, not a cheapo imported job) that does the trick just fine. I believe that motion pro makes a special wrench that goes on a 1/2" breaker bar for the axle lock-nuts..

Ya, rear hub nut is 27mm. Axle nut takes a BIG crescent wrench. I picked up one at a fleamarket for $15.00

    Thanks

I was looking for the castle nut (the one with the kotter pin) that holds on the wheel hub. Thanks to you guys, I can now go and buy a 27mm socket.
    thanks dudes.
