I have been using an easy pull with the shorty leaver for 9 months now, and I have had no problems so far. I did replace my clutch cable 2 weeks ago, but it was not broken just warn out.

will the 400ex levers fit on the cr clutch perch? or mabee the xr? i need a new brake lever too and i would just get the grippy ones for the 400ex, that way i would save a few bucks. anyone know?- mike

I agree... I just went thru one this weekend with my ezpull & the cable only has around 10 - 15 hrs on it or so.  I think its time for a hydro clutch..... :macho

I ran an easy pull/Cr250 clutch lever and perch for 2.5 years and I just replaced my stock cable. Not freyed anywere....

Lube the mofo up and you'll be surprised at how long a cable can last....;)

Mine just snapped right at that perch... I suppose it could have been a crappy cable even tho it was new, it was a motion pro cable which I thought were ok.. but if I don't get the hydro clutch I will just go buy a Honda cable.

A clutch perch off of a xr 400 dirt bike works with the stock ex clutch lever. They're only about 8 bucks and work better then anything I have ever used. The cr lever is diff.
