I know there has been some discussion in the past about nerf bars for 250R based frames with the pro-peg design.

I contact Rath racing the other week and placed an order. They will be shipping out tomorrow and I will get them next week. Of course I will post some pictures when they come in.

Just wanted to let people know that Rath does make them, by special order. It was a gift for my son from my parents, so I am not sure of the exact price, but you can contact Rath.

Also, the new pro-peg nerfs from AC will not fit the pro-peg frames like Walsh. They changed the foot pegs set up so you can run the foot pegs without the nerfs.

I am still waiting on them. Last time I called, they said the nerfs would be shipped by the end of this week. (That was early last week when I called).

Originally they told me 3 weeks to make, been about a month so far. Reminds me to give them another call.

In regards to AC, I spoke to them before going to Rath and the new MX pro-pegs that they have will not work with the older pro-peg style frames. The lady at AC said some one brought a set but it would not mount up. Has to do with the foot pegs being part of the mounting peg, not on the nerf bars.

Not sure if AC is talking about making a run of old style pro-pegs or just stocking up on the newer style.

Oh...I know all too well about waiting on custom parts. I have a feeling that they will be worth the wait...but waiting to see.

Just got home from vacation and there was a package from Rath at the house. First thing my son did was open them up.

Sweet...is all I can say. I will get picks posted soon. Need to unwind (and unpack) from vacation first.

Just got them installed over the weekend. Need to clean up the quad from Sunday's race.

I would have to look up the price, but took almost 2 months from order to my door. But expected during middle of race season. Price was not $500, more like in the 300 hundreds.

The nerfs are great looking and seem to be really sturdy. Fitment was about a 1/2 inch off from the pro peg mounts. (Even my AC are as well) But not that bad for installing. Just used a strap and rubber mallet.

My only complaint is the monter pegs. Once the nerfs are on the quad, those things are sharp and I ended up putting a towel over them when working near the pegs. Great for when you are on the track, but terrible when a wrench slips near by :)

97rocks - I won't have pictures of them installed for a little bit because my frame is all wrapped up to be sent for powder this week.

Woodsracer - ya, it definetly wasn't 500 I beleive I paid 330 or 350 and it took about a month.

Rick this is the same bars your asking about. They are nice, but now that they are building so many they need to make them the correct width for the propeg and not mod them on the end. I think its cheap looking.

my rath propegs broke on that weld where rath modified it. another quad bumped into my nerfs with their front wheel and cracked it, so that seems to be the week spot. still a good product tho.
