elimniting bulky, stock on/off

i dont have my headlight anymore so i wanna take off my whole starter button and just put in a tether and like a dirtbike killswithc for a starter how would i do this? thanks

get a crf 450x starter button. i just did this to a 2007 400ex on our race team.

you have to turn it upside down but it still looks normal. or find a cannondale start button but good luck with that.

i think the starer wire is yellow with a red hash mark but double check.

i was told to put on cr style killswitch for a starter and a tether to shut it off and than just mount the key?
