Building a modified mini question

I'm thinking about building a modified mini quad for my son. How much heavier is a 300ex chassis than a TRX90 chassis. My son is tall for his age and could use the extra room.

the blaster chassis is to heavy, its almost double the trx 90's weight. call kids on quads, they build different versions of mods, and can help you out.
