Got it stuck in the mud! Gave her a bath when I got home. Went over the bike looking for loose fasteners. All is well. Running great. Doing it again tomorrow!

Well gave one a bath and then got her dirty again
And put the cam in the other one only to find out that i really wasnt paying attention and put the cam in upside down (valves are open when should b shut)
So i guess ill go back and fix it tomorrow

I installed a 11.1 piston. installed the ported head, slip on exhaust, sparks key, installed 170, 42 jets, removed the choke, some other stuff.

waiting on the cam. hopefully it will be here today so I can get it finished up and running.


Have to head to the parts store and get a few things. Like a new feeler gauge set and I am getting some new hose clamps to replace those pos ones that comes on it.

sparks key with hi-comp piston and performance cam:confused: your just asking for a blown motor.

Just finishing up my mods for the summer. I have to go get my stock 450 needle this afternoon to put in it and then I should be set. It will be going to the dyno in a couple of weeks :devil: The newest additions to the 416 are the monster coil and the stage 2 from the stage 1 that I had in it. It will be professionally tuned and dynoed to see what kind of numbers I am getting out of it. steve

Gave mine a right royal plastics off clean, polished my rims,
replaced the relay for the SPAL fan which got water in it :(

Tried to move the position of the trailtech endurance on my handle bars but dropped the small screw right into the steering stem :( I can see it right down the bottom with a torch :(

I'm not looking forward to turning the quad upside down to get it out :(

Wrapped some gaffer tape around the axle nut to stop da bast**d spinning loose :mad:

Got my keihin needles installed. The needle jet is the big needle and the small needle for the float is just the needle. lol. I told my dealer to order a needle, well, I got the one for the float. Ordered the jet on wednesday, got it today, and got it installed. I cant wait to take it for a ride, it sounded great in the garage. I think it will be perfect now jetting wise. hopefully, tuesday or wednesday it will get dynoed and tuned up by the pros with a sniffer. :devil: there shouldnt be much for them to do now, I have it brown and ready to rip. steve

Will do. I know it will run great with the new needle. It sounds better already without even taking it for a ride. :) Thanks for the advice on the dj and keihin needles. The number of slots is different and the stocker has much closer together. I put it on the 3rd notch on the new one and may try out the 2nd if needed. I dont think it will be though. I will be sure to post up my dyno runs when i get done. I am hoping for around 35 hp. maybe a bit more. I think that would be very good for a 416 with my mods. steve

just fixed the rear hubs on mine they were a lil nuttin an impact couldn't take care of now i'm gonna get changed and go ride with my bro in law
