Need some help..

Few nights ago when i was cleaning the frozen ice out of my skid plates and frame ( yes a live in Canada) i notice my back wheels were wobbly. What i mean is i grabed the wheel and it felt loose, and was able to move if i shook it.. im thinking my barrings are gone, but not to sure, i can still ride but somethings wrong any ideas ? its a 2001 250ex

Are your lug nuts tight? Or the hub nut? Is it both sides? And what about the axle nut? Just some things to check first.

If its just your wheel and not your hole axle then your wheel nuts just need to be tightened. Check all 5 of them. If you can move it up and down and your axle shifts with it then you need new bearing or just to tighten your axle nut.

check the castle nut on the hub. mine is notorious for coming loose, even with the cotter pin in it (i dont have a clue how that happens:confused: )

mostlikley the castle nut..my left rear one comes loose every few rides.
